Body Insight Bodywork

Combines deep tissue therapy, active movement and active awareness that changes posture, re-educates movement limitations and motivates the client to take responsibility for their health.

CranioSacral Therapy

CranioSacral therapy is a gentle, hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the functioning of a physiological body system called the craniosacral system-comprised of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.

Using a soft touch generally no greater that 5 grams practitioners release restrictions in the craniosacral system to improve the functioning of the central nervous system.

E.T.P.S. Therapy

ETPS is a unique hybrid therapy combining the best principles of osteopathy, acupuncture, trigger point therapy and Myofascial release.  ETPS starts with an overall structural/mechanical body analysis looking for areas of nerve impingement.

Dermatomes, meridians, trigger, motor and  acupuncture points are then integrated into protocols in order to reduce  the impingement and relieve the pain.

Medical Massage

The fundamental distinction between medical massage and other forms of bodywork is the fact that medical massage is performed only on persons with diseases diagnosed by a doctor or chiropractor.  The goal of medical massage is to apply therapeutic impact on parts, systems and organs of the body using direct and indirect methods of treatment.  Thus, medical massage is a method of treatment with the same goals as any other medical Procedure.

Muscle Release Technique

The Muscle Release Technique is a unique injury therapy that combines compression, extension, movement and breath to give the therapist a tool to provide, in many cases, relief from pain in one treatment.  With the Muscle Release Technique scar tissue is broken up, the muscle is lengthened, muscle memory is restored and relief from pain starts immediately.

Myokinesthetic

Myokinesthetic is a simple technique designed to affect the nervous system at specific nerve root levels: a soft tissue treatment with Chiropractic philosophy.  The Myokinesthetic System alleviates pain, increases function and movement, improves and balances posture and clears compensations in less than 15 minutes.

Myopractic

Myopractic is a complete system for achieving deep relaxation and freedom from chronic pain.  Using very deep muscle therapy and structural integration techniques to remove tension and restrictions from soft tissue and encourage joints to move freely.

Myoskeletal Alignment Technique

Mobilizing joints through muscle manipulation.  Treating bones as soft tissue.  Whole body alignment (Myofascial, ligamentous and skeletal).  Golgi tendon organ work.

Orthopedic Massage

Orthopedic massage involves therapeutic assessment, manipulation and movement of loco motor soft tissues to reduce or eliminate pain and dysfunction.  A unique multidisciplinary theory approach is utilized to restore structural balance throughout the body which will allow you to focus on the prevention and rehabilitation of musculoskeletal dysfunctions, chronic pain and sports injuries.

The primary modalities taught include functional assessment, Myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, scar tissue mobilization techniques, p.n.f. stretching, neuromuscular re-education, strengthening and specific client home care protocols.  The combination of these techniques will allow the therapist to obtain immediate and permanent results in even the most challenging and complicated clients.
